thinking of him

i'm waiting for him to end class in computer lab. only me, alone.

my bad. offer to send him to college this morning. so now i have to wait for him. -.-

i don't know why from yesterday night till this morning, i was a lil depressed? i don't know.

i was thinking about going to Perth again. talked with kae shiuh about it too. his words kinda making me feel like reconsider bout it again.

if i seriously just wanna learn to be independent, why do i have to go so far? just that staying here won't make me do so. =(

i think i will miss him so so so much when i get there. will miss my parents too. my maids. my car. my friends. ='(

i seems easily be emotional. can cry when i think of sad things. i can even imagine those scenes when i leave them at KLIA. kua jeong mou?!

will he even say a single word to ask me stay? probably he won't. it's not his style.

Well, I have no idea about the others, but as for me, eventhough how much I wanted a person to stay, I wouldnt voice it out too,as I know going there will be a good future for that other person..But if u r just thinking of being independent and not thinking of getting a cert oversea would bring u a better job in the future, why going oversea..maybe u can reconsiderate it..although he is really important, but if u think studying oversea will bring u brighter future, you should go ahead with ur plan, as nothing is more important than the career you'll be facing..as you also know,he is loyal ma....dont worry so much =)

But still,it is up to you =)

of course, i thought of my future too. a cert from Curtin and a cert from here is the same. just that i will probably wanna stay there to work for a year like that.

i know well that he wants me to stay. if really changes, it changes. i really wish that this 1 year separation really makes our connection stronger. =)

btw, thanks~!

Where you get the cert makes all the diff. But actually depends on the employer. It's OVERSEAS or not. Many employers prefer OVERSEAS because of the experience. Studying locally and abroad is very different.

It brings a difference when you work with colleagues from overseas or meet clients from overseas.

haiz whatever lah.. whether you get a cert locally or oversea, as long as next time can get jobs can edi lor. Now econ so bad, dont think so much on getting whatever experience lah, oversea cert more value lah and blah blah blah...

can get one steady job (local or oversea) and have enough to support ourselves can edi lor.. dun need think of earning big money and getting rich wan lah...

summor how, you can get an oversea cert locally also wert...Like my accounting dip cert, sit airplane wan leh!! And you wont see my college name being printed on it

So I dont see any differences lor.

You get an opportunity to go oversea then go lor, everything has its good and its bad.

As for being exposed to the world or not, all these depends on yourself wan lah. Aiya actually many thing it all boils down to yourself.

jiak sai punyer bosses will think oversea cert holder got more value. Smart bosses will valuate his staff by their performance!!

There's no point at all if you'r a first class honours grad but your work is like a piece of shit.

You excel in your studies doesnt mean you'll do well in your work. Working life, especially in office (multinational companies) there are a lot of gossips and you have to learn when to open mouth when to keep quiet.

There are more than what you have learnt in college/university. You have to use wisdom wan lor. Tahts why i say it all boils down to YOURSELF.

And sometimes, even if you work oversea, some of their ang moh ways might not be accepted here. And many people always think Europeans are the better people which is so not true. They can be very busuk wan lor!!

Going overseas makes all the difference. Here they spoon feed us; giving us tips during exams. There, you're taking care of your own ass. At the same time, you're cultivating your independence.

It's contradicting when people don't want to leave because of the boyfriend yet they're okay (or at the very least, reluctant) when leaving their parents.

Your education is for one person; you. Not for the boyfriend. What happens if you don't end up together anymore? Then you've given up on your education for him. It's the same scenario as this: Girl marries guy at young age. Doesn't further her studies. They have 2 kids. He works and she stays at home. He beats her. She can't divorce him because she isn't financially independent. She's stuck with him. Even if she leaves him and starts working, it'll be very tough on her.

Whatever you do, secure your own future first before thinking about another one. If you can't take care of yourself, what makes you think you can take care of others?

seriously, i think i'm sucks in decision-making. =(

i really have made up my mind to go. just that there are things here that i can't let go. probably i should learn how to let go and think further.

no worries! everything will be just fine. =)

i know what deng, nicole, and hwey trying to tell me. i get it, seriously. my future is however more important than him.

ofcourse, leaving him is hard but leaving my parents and my maid is harder. especially my maid. she take care of me for 16 years already. we spent time together more than with my parents.

however, since i have the chance, why wouldn't i go? i should go~! yes. i should.

and irritate twins everyday when we get there. haha.

no lah if you think you want to make your parents happy, go oversea just like anybody else... BUT come back work a while then marry... then i'll advise you to save up your parents hard earn money lor hahhaa...

as for working life, dont worry too much lor, it's all about attitude, hardwork and performance.

Got a lot people get no cert yet they are successful people in the society.

But for me, if im studying biz like you, and i know i will come back here wan, then i wont choose to go oversea lor. THAT IS ME LAH.

But like hwey said, here we're all spoon fed and its a one person thing. Going oversea MAYBE can help you be a little independent n so on, but still it all boils down to yourself.

Think positive a bit lor. One year got so many holidays, you can come back and he can go over wan ma. Maybe one year can meet at least ONCE, that also for quite a long period of time. summor got webcam n all. make good use of technologies lor....

nicole:
honestly, i chose to go overseas just to experience the student life there. not to expect will get a high pay job. i just wanna experience the life there. ofcourse, won't come back dy then straight away married lor.

my parents also agreed that, since now i have the opportunity and they are able to send me there, why wouldn't i go? learn to be independent, settle things by myself.

and, one of the example for succeed without cert is my dad. he finished his form 6 and work and do business till now. he just wants me to experience more. not cz of the cert lar.

so, it's depends on me whether wanna stay there for work anot. so, i shall see after i finish my degree lar.

in this 1year, i can come back during my hols and all. some more, my sis wedding is on next year. haha. i sure come back de. i just don't feel like letting go of what i'm having now. haha.
